There are basically
three ways to get to Bolnuevo:-
This junction you join at
is Junction 784. (Note: Junctions are numbered by their position along the
motorway. You want to leave the motorway at Junction 800 and as you have just
joined at junction 784 there are 16 kilometres to go.]
Turn off at junction 800,
you want the AP-7 towards Vera and Murcia.
Do NOT go straight on to Cartagena. You should now be on the AP7 motorway.
At Junction 810 traffic
for the A-30 to Murcia will leave the motorway but you continue along the
AP-7 motorway towards Vera. At Junction 815 you take the slip road
to the right, signposted AP-7 to Vera. Immediately after this take a toll
ticket from the machine. You pay about 5 Euro when you leave the motorway
at Mazarron.
[Note: An Autopista is a
motorway with tolls and is designated by an AP prefix. An Autovia is a motorway
without tolls and is designated with just an A prefix. So the A-7 and the
AP-7 are completely different roads. Beware!]
After 30 km, at Junction
845, you leave the motorway signposted Mazarron and Puerto de Mazarron.
At the toll booth give them the ticket you got when you joined the toll section
and pay the toll (At present this is about 5 but dont worry if you have
not yet got any Euros you can pay with a UK credit or debit card.).
At the next roundabout (about
100m or so) you will pass under the Mazarron by-pass.
Take the third exit up the slip road up onto the by-pass signposted Puerto
de Mazarron.
After 1 km, you will come
to the end of the bye-pass and a big roundabout, turn left here. The next
roundabout is the one with an old caterpillar tractor in the middle. Take
the first exit, signposted Bolnuevo.
The next roundabout, (about
5Km) with the Sails sculpture in the middle, is at the start of Bolnuevo village,
take the first exit to Bolnuevo. After 20 metres, turn sharp right into the
Marina de Bolnuevo development. After another 15 metres, turn left, and follow
the road round into Calle Alisio our house is number 3 you made it!!
When leaving the airport car park, follow the
signs all the way to
Follow this straight road through the city
until you come to a large island, and take the first exit, immediately past the
Plaza de Espana
parking.
After the 5th set of
traffic lights, (including the pedestrian crossings), you will come to an
island with a large shield monument in the centre and a Video drug store on the
opposite side.
Turn left here, (second exit), signpost Mazarron
..
Carry on this dual carriage way, straight over
the first island towards Mazarron, over the traffic lights and up to the second
roundabout, Turn right here on to the E22,
signpost Mazarron. This road takes
you through a little village called Las Canteras and up over the mountains, (not that high!).
Once over the mountains, carry on the same road
until you come to a T junction. Turn
left, signpost Mazarron. After about 2km you will come to a large island with a
boat in the centre. Take the first exit, towards Mazarron, (this is the bypass around Puerto de Mazarron).
After about 1km, turn left, at the next
roundabout, (with two galleon ships in the middle), towards Puerto de Mazarron
and go down into the town. Stay on this
road through the town as it follows the coast line to Bolnuevo about 4km
away. Just before you get to Bolnuevo
you will come to a gradual bridge over a causeway. Come down to the island, (it has a metal
sculpture of sails on it), and take the 2nd exit to Bolnuevo town.
After 20 metres turn sharp right
into the Marina de Bolnuevo development.
After another 15 metres, turn left and follow
the road round into Calle Alisio our house is number 3 you made it!!
Getting back to
Get into
the centre of
it will

The motorway starts immediately after
Carrefour. After only about 2km the
motorway splits, take the one sign posted Airport,
even if says
When leaving the airport car park, follow the
signs all the way to
